NZ U-15 Team Road to WBSC Oceania Qualifier 2025/2026

Players looking to Represent NZ in the NZU15 Team in 2025/2026

The National Development Squad and NZU15 Team identification and selection information and process.

  • Player observation and identification at various tournaments and events  –  2025 Summer Showdown tournament for 14U & 16U, Little League All-Stars Series and regional trials.
  • Players must participate in at least one of these events to meet the selection criteria.
  • Players need to complete the selection registration form:

  • ​​​​​​​Players must attend a minimum of one national selection observation event – 2025 Summer Showdown Tournament (14U & 16U), Little League All Stars Series (12U, 14U, 16U) or National squad trials.
  • Baseball NZ recommends attending more than one of the above events for our coaches and selectors to be able to view players more than once and in different environments, however a minimum of one is a requirement to be selected.
  • Note: If an athlete is unable to attend due to extraordinary circumstances or is an overseas-based NZ player, please contact Connar O’Gorman.
  • Selected National Squad athletes must be available and attend the National Development Camp (October school holidays) and all National Squad duties.​​​​​​​

Players must hold a current New Zealand passport

Players must be born in 2011, 2012, or 2013
